Jill Mires, superintendent of Salem Community Schools, introduces Luke Dean as the principal of Salem High School.
Salem High School has a new high school principal, Luke Dean.
Dean lives in Pekin with his wife Amy and their two boys, ages 10 and 13.
He comes from Eastern High School, where he was Assist Principal for four years.
He has been in the education field for over seventeen years. This resume includes teaching at Eastern Green School in Bloomington. His educational background includes four years at Indiana University where he was a walk-on for the IU football team. That led him into coaching varsity football at Eastern High School.
Let’s welcome Principal Luke Dean into the Salem Community School system.
