The verse from December 2^nd is from the book of Philippians, chapter three and verse eight of the English Standard Version of the Bible. In an effort to make the verse as easy to read and understand to as many people as possible, I decided to step away from the King James Version of the Bible for now. If that is your preferred version, or the only version that you have, please feel free to call, text or email me and I’ll happily supply the scripture to you as it is written in the King James version of the Bible.

For the almost three years that I have been submitting this column, the King James Version of the Bible has been used, but for the sake of readability, I’d like to give this newer version a chance.
