Gifts for children participating in the Angel Tree program are due to the church on Sunday, Dec. 8th. Gifts should be wrapped and labeled.
Food pantry items for three area food pantries will be collected until Sunday, Dec. 8th.
Prayer was requested for Linda Phillips, Stephanie Knight, Brian Lynch, Sue Denton, Lori Sorg, Abby Sorg, a student in Riley Hospital with pneumonia, Grant Oldham, Kay Smith, Joe and Brenda Brewer, Angie Basinger, and continued guidance for a friend making medical decisions.
Elder Steve Brown led the communion meditation from Matthew 26:26-29. Communion was served by Richard Keller and Tom Bailey; Barry Bishop and Aiden Keller assisted.
Brother Phil McDonald continued his sermon series in the book of James. The sermon was entitled "How to Handle Temptation" from James 1:12-18.
