Adult Bible Study continues Wednesday evening at 6:30pm at the church fellowship hall.

 

Wonder Valley Christian Camp will host Senior Adult Day on Tues., Oct. 8th. Registration and Continental Breakfast will be 9:00am to 10:00am with the message, lunch, music, and program 10:00am-3:00pm. Tom Bostic, Orleans Christian Church minister, will lead the program. The suggested donation is $10 per person. Event registration is available online, or by calling the camp office at 812-883-4964.

 

Prayer was requested for Sue Denton, Lori Sorg, Kay Smith, Joe and Brenda Brewer, Grant Oldham, Ralph Ikerd, Don and Nancy Mahan, David Hackney, Richard Keller, a co-worker, Angie Basinger, Harold White, Lois Krezinski, a friend, a cousin, Bonita McDonald's sister, and hurricane victims. 

 

Elder Eugene Denton led the communion meditation from 1 Corinthians 11:23-26. Communion was served by Tony Sorg and Josh McDonald; Richard Keller and Aiden Keller assisted.

 

Brother Phil McDonald continued "The Lord's Prayer" sermon series from Matthew 6:9-13 entitled "His Kingdom, His Power, His Glory, Forever."

 

Jeremy and Liz Smith attended the wedding of their niece, Kendra Slaughter, to Jeremy Lonigro last weekend in Louisburg, Kansas. Kendra is the daughter of Jason and Amy Slaughter of Parkville, MO. Other family attending from Indiana were Judy Ikerd, Jaxton Smith, Gracie Heeb, Hadleigh Smith, Bryce McCullough, Elle Ikerd, and Chase Terry.

 

Celebrating birthdays this week are Kay Brown (29th) and Josh McDonald (30th).
