Southern Hills Church, 1645 S. State Road 135, Salem, is collecting canned fruit for the county food bank and 40-gallon trash bags for the Warming Station.

Members are asked to bring a family photo in a black frame for the Family Photo Wall that is being updated. Please contact the church office at 812-883-1637 for more information.

Members are invited to help sort and pack items for the Christmas Assistance Program Monday through Friday, Dec. 9-13.

Jennifer Tomlinson is hosting "Favorite Things" at 119 W. Whipporwill Lane, Salem, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10. Those attending are to bring an appetizer to share and one of their favorite things wrapped and unsigned to play Dirty Santa.  The items can be a kitchen tool, a candle, a throw...whatever is considered to be a "favorite."  For more information, please call 812-620-1498.

Southern Hills Kids Ministry will be hosting a Cookies & Cocoa Christmas Party on December 11th from 5-6:30pm for all kids up to middle school age! We will be practicing for the nativity play and celebrating the birth of Jesus with a BIG party full of treats, games, prizes, and more! 

Southern Hills Kids will once again put on a Nativity play during second service on December 15th. If your child would like to participate please let Cassie know at 812-620-5885. We will be practicing during kid’s time on December 8th and at the Christmas party on December 11th! We will need a few older kids to read the nativity story and there are plenty of non-speaking parts for everyone!
