Helen F. Marshall
Mrs. Helen Frances Marshall, age 99, of Hardinsburg, passed away Tuesday, October 8 at Paoli Health and Living in Paoli.
Mrs. Marshall was born January 11, 1925, in Orange County, Indiana the daughter of Franklin Elwood and Edith Irene Veatch Lindley. She was a 1942 graduate of Paoli High School, then went on to graduate from Indiana University and obtain a master’s degree in education. She was a retired teacher. She was a member of Hardinsburg Christian Church and Dorcas Circle. She was also a member of Hardinsburg Homemakers Club, DAR, and Orange County Historical Society. Helen enjoyed reading, church activities, listening to gospel music, gardening and visiting friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband: Dewayne Marshall, a daughter: Janet Lynn Marshall Holsapple, two sisters: Thelma Lindley Foderill and Marjorie Lindley Lapping, and her parents. She is survived by her son: Philip Marshall of Hardsinburg.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2PM at Hardinsburg Christian Church. Burial will follow in Providence Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from Noon-time of service at the church.
