Larry Joe Allen
Larry "Joe" Allen, 81, of Salem, passed away on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Meadowview Health & Rehab Center.
Larry was the county's locksmith for over 50 years as the owner of Allen Lock & Key. He also served his country in the United States Air Force.
Larry is survived by his wife of 28 years, Debbie (Scott) Allen of Salem; his 2 children: Katherine Wheatley of Salem, and Larry Allen Jr (Carrie) of Kannapolis, NC; and his 3 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and 2 sisters.
Larry will be laid to rest at the New Albany National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 10, at 1:30 p.m. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home was entrusted with his care.
