Norma Eisert
Norma Eisert, age 97 of Salem, Indiana died Friday, August 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Floyd New Albany.
Born May 1, 1927, 10 miles down the Ohio River from New Albany, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Sylvia (Evans) Bailey.
She was a member and secretary of the Salem Presbyterian Church for many years and was a self-employed realtor.
On April 10, 1946, she married Erwin L. Eisert, who died November 14, 1981.
Survivors include: one daughter, Sandra Eisert; and her late son Bruce’s four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Bruce E. Eisert; and one brother, Lloyd A. Bailey; as well as her husband.
There will be a funeral service at 2:00 pm Friday, Sept 6, at Salem Presbyterian Church, with refreshments immediately following in the church hall.
Friends are welcome to gather starting at 1p.m.
This is a celebration of life well-lived and it is hoped those who can come will bring their joyous and heartfelt stories and tales of ‘"ife with Norma" to share with her other friends. If you cannot be there but wish you could, you can still participate via a joint phone call of the proceedings.
